Horseman Construction
Detail Construction
Horseman boots embody classic Western style with elegant details. They are built with premium materials inside and out for years of comfortable outdoor wear. The premium leather lining absorbs moisture and helps keep feet cool. Both heel and heel counter are leather. We use a natural leather outsole stitched to the front three-quarters of the insole; hand-hammered brass nails secure the parts that are closest to the boot’s heel. This technique is called three-quarter welt construction. It’s a method that sometimes incorporates lemonwood pegs, but for boots that will be worn in high-moisture areas, we choose brass nails instead.
